Cambridge Support Growth in 2023

Cambridge Support have kicked off the year with welcoming another Technical Lead. But towards to the end of last year we also welcomed a Network Engineer Apprentice and a Technical Consultant. We are very excited about the Cambridge Support growth in 2023 and are looking forward to a successful year.

Working in similar roles in the past in the shipping industry, we are glad to have Matthew onboard and look forward to seeing him grow in his role.

My job entails communicating with customers to fix critical issues as well maintaining a high level of service for our customers.

I like that each day is different and there is always something new. Also, the team is fantastic to work with.

I enjoy taking on many DIY projects, from rebuilding old wardrobes, to building a new decking for the garden.

Mark, Technical Consultant

In November 2022, we had Mark, a Technical Consultant join Cambridge Support. Being very experienced in his field we were glad to welcome him to the team.

As one of the consultants at Cambridge Support my job can be varied. I work with clients to identify issues and requirements, plan out and detail how we can meet these and then work to deploy solutions.

The flexibility and variety of work. Each project can be both similar and uniquely different.

A healthy mixture of hiking, music, and gaming. Not always in that order!

Not sure I have a favourite, but I have several places I’d like to see, Austria and Canada are next on the list!

Ryan, Network Engineer Apprentice

Towards the end of 2022 we had Ryan join Cambridge Support, as our Network Engineer Apprentice. Working in similar roles in the past, he is the youngest in the company and has fit right in. We are excited to see how he progresses in the coming months and years.

My job entails a range of things, this could be from communicating with customers to fix time critical issues to dealing with basic issues that need to be handled.

The thing I like most about my job is the variety of all the different calls with no two calls being the same.

When I’m not working, I often spend time looking at video editing, but also upgrading my home network getting a maximal performance out of it.

I don’t have a particular place that is my favourite, although I must admit that Mexico has very nice beaches.

I don’t think I could live without my phone or laptop; they play a large part in my life.

I would like the power to know everything, it would be very beneficial.
