The Cambridge Support team have made it to the finals! The whole team is thrilled, and we are eagerly awaiting the awards night. We have been nominated for the category of Family Business of the Year at the SME Cambridgeshire Business Awards sponsored by Cambridge Independent. In 2019 we were the winner at the Hunts Post Business Awards, and have continued to work hard and achieve outstanding results. In 2021 we were awarded two silver awards at the SME Business Awards. Therefore, our team is looking forward to the awards night on Thursday 28th September 2023 to see if we win.
We are a family business
Many people might not know but our company was founded by two families: the Mashinchi’s and the Fosters. On the Mashinchi side we have Philip, who started the company. His family include his wife Helen, son Jason, and nephew Chris. On the Foster side we have Alex who started Cambridge Support with Philip. His family includes his brother Derren who is our Infrastructure Specialist.
In addition to direct family members, we have several other employees that have known Phil and Alex for many years. They have worked with them at other businesses. Sunil (below) even studied with Alex at university. So we have all had a lot of history together and therefore feel like one large family.
