In July Cambridge Support had a full company day out at WildTracks. All the team thoroughly enjoyed it and it was great to be together. To spend time as a team away from the ringing phones of the helpdesk and have fun was refreshing. WildTracks is an outdoor activity park providing a wide range of exciting and engaging activities. We even had Jason and Daniel join us from Cambridge Kinetics. It was an exceptional day and here’s what we got up to.
Battlefield Live Combat
First off, we started with Battlefield Live Combat. This laser tag style game was enjoyed by all. We used sophisticated replica gaming guns, with sensors being on the gun and on our heads. When firing or getting shot at, sounds are immitted through the gun to provide a real fighting experience.
Karting
After we had shot each other to the ground, we had 30 laps of Karting. There was lots of speeding, overtaking and general fun! The 700m tarmac circuit is 10 meters wide, so lots of space for everyone. The speedy karts reached a top speed of 40mph, and our laps were timed. At the end we were all given printouts of our lap times and finished positions. For most, the karting was the highlight of the day.
Quad Biking
The quad biking was equally exciting as the karting. The course was an off-road, windy, bumpy, and overall, a thrilling experience.
Archery
Lastly, most of us finished off with Archery. This was a good, calm sport to finish off the day. We all started off by missing the target, to eventually finishing with some bullseyes!
All the team enjoyed a full day of fun and laughter. We are now eagerly awaiting the next team-building day. If you would like to join our friendly team, see what career opportunities we have you!
